Dear God

Dear God

Dear God …

Prior to explaining to you our dream of making the world a better place, I’d like to start this letter off with a dua I complete after my prayers.

Lord …

Thank you for all you have given us.

Please forgive us for all the sins we’ve committed.

Please continue to guide us down the right path.

Please give us the strength, courage, and grace needed to lead our communities.

Please forgive us for all the sins we’ve committed.

Please help us empower the youth with the inspiration needed to make the world a better place.

Please help us make the world a better place by feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, providing the less fortunate with the opportunity needed to rise above their current situation.

Please give us the strength needed to overcome any adversity that stands in the way of us executing on our mission, our vision, our purpose of making the world whole.

Please help us bridge the opportunity gap around the world.

Please forgive us for all the sins we’ve committed.

Thank you for all you have given us.

I’d like to share with you how we plan on using the aforementioned dua as our guiding light for completing our mission, our vision and our purpose.

Life is full of contradictions and sometimes when we let life flow, we start to see imbalances form in society. The ones that stick out to me most are the imbalances between the haves and have nots, between pursuing opportunity and pursuing purpose, between equity and work, and sometimes unfortunately between resiliency and success. Adam Smith’s invisible hand and the sheer good will of our leaders helps us overcome some of these imbalances, but there’s always so much more we can do to make the world a better place.

One aspect of our society in America I love is our access to opportunity through education and my favorite part of society is when we come together for the greater good, instead of opting to look away. Our definition of basic human rights often reflects the bare minimum and we often see our fellow brothers and sisters struggling to survive. This imbalance triggers me to question what can we do to help level the playing field globally. A dream of mine has always to bridge the opportunity gap across the globe.

Something that has inspired me to help close the gap has been this concept of building sustainable cities shared by Kanye West. He shared his vision of redefining basic human rights to free society from the shackles of poverty and the survival mindset, equipping us with a mindset of love and abundance. He defines basic human rights as the right to opportunity, food, shelter, healthcare and clean water. The disparity between the haves and have nots is drastically more apart when we compare our developed countries to our emerging and developing nations.

As technology has become more integrated in our lives, we start to see the correlation between greedy algorithms and the imbalance between the haves and have nots grow. Our goal is to help guide society down a path that leads to us automating giving back to the greater good. We see blockchain technology as the great equalizer due to its potential to create global platforms and create uniformity through open source software where we create access to education, opportunity and fundamental technology that acts as the bedrock for innovation, enabling the emergence of digital economies. We can leverage global platforms to connect our impoverished youth with a map towards a better life.

We believe education can be the great equalizer. We are inspired by the mission and community building efforts of both LeBron James’ iPromise school and Kanye West’s Donda Academy. We believe it is essential to give back to our communities and we see a global metaverse as a gateway for providing education and employment opportunities across borders, allowing us to create a pathway for opportunity from our developed nations to our developing world. Our goal is to provide educational infrastructure through Satoshi’s Dreamers and to provide access to NFT textbooks as well as fundamental educational courses, on Play our metaverse project.

Dreamfund’s mission as a non profit organization is to help provide the goods required to allow for society to become free of the burden of worry that comes along with poverty and grant the impoverished the opportunity to focus on creating a better life for themselves and their loved ones. In order to better understand Dreamfund’s mission, I want to share with you some noble charities that have inspired our mission, our vision, our purpose.

SOS Children’s Villages is a global charity organization that provides long-term family-based care for orphaned and abandoned children. They work to provide these children with a stable and nurturing environment, as well as education and skills training to help them become self-sufficient adults. The organization’s impact on society includes providing a safe and loving home for thousands of children who would otherwise be without one, as well as helping to break the cycle of poverty and disadvantage through education and skills training. Additionally, the organization works to raise awareness about the needs of orphaned and abandoned children and advocate for their rights.

Bowery Mission is a non-profit organization that provides care and services to homeless, hungry and poor individuals in New York City. They offer a wide range of services such as emergency shelter, meals, medical and dental care, job training, and education programs. The organization’s impact on society includes providing immediate assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty, as well as working to address the root causes of these issues through job training and education programs. Additionally, the organization seeks to empower individuals to break the cycle of poverty and achieve self-sufficiency. They also advocate for policy changes and work to raise awareness about the needs of individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty.

Room to Read is a global non-profit organization that aims to improve literacy and gender equality in education in low-income communities around the world. Their mission is to empower children, particularly girls, to break the cycle of poverty through education by providing access to books, building schools, and providing training and support to educators and communities.

The organization’s impact on society is multifaceted, it includes:

  • Providing access to educational resources: Room to Read provides access to books, libraries, and educational materials to children in low-income communities. This helps to improve literacy rates and educational outcomes for these children.
  • Building schools: Room to Read works to build new schools and improve existing ones in low-income communities, providing children with a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Promoting gender equality in education: Room to Read places a particular emphasis on girls’ education and works to break down barriers that prevent girls from attending and completing school.
  • Empowering communities: Room to Read partners with local communities and organizations to support the long-term sustainability of their programs, including training and support for educators, and empowering communities to take ownership of their education system.

We draw inspiration from the noble work completed by Bowery Mission, SOS Children’s Village and Room to Read. We understand that our mission is not a solo act and want to help connect with our local communities to create a global impact, effectively liberating the world through decentralization.

Our mission is focused on building sustainable communities through building shelters, building community farms, building community centers with sports facilities, ensuring access to clean water for all, and to provide pathways towards employment and self improvement for our global community.

Our vision with Dreamfund is to provide society with the infrastructure needed to grow globally, leveraging the internet where possible and ensuring that we meet a higher level of basic human rights that allows us all to pursue our passions and dreams while making society a better place collectively. Our purpose is working towards providing children in low-income communities with the resources and opportunities they need to improve their literacy and education, ultimately helping to break the cycle of poverty through education.

From New York to the World … With Love,
